But sendfax -d xxxxxxxx filename produces the error message: sendfax: Can not reach "fax" service at host "localhost" The /etc/services file has fax 4557/tcp in it and I have added after a tab sendfax, fax, and hylafax to no avail. What do I have to do to make this work? Thanks-- Annelise
