Not that I condone the level of teamwork here, but, props for keeping
this list entertaining.  <:~)

Seriously though, on a regular basis I get put in the same position of
committing before everyone's comfortable with it.... in the end, it
all works out and it just turns out to be added stress.  Having
someone work on something in their own sandbox and making ueber
commits every month or so pretty much fucks up my universe in terms of
development.  That said, I feel 'ya on this one and wish jhb would
work with you in the agreed upon forum, which is CVS.  p4 may have
more power, features, etc, but until it's the standard, the burden of
using that tool (keeping the code bases in sync) is left up to him.

Hopefully some of that argument gets you someplace in -core.  Best of
luck, hopefully jhb will start using CVS again soon. -sc
