Hi I've tried adding an ide hard disk into my freebsd system using a scsi hard disk. I put a boot manager on the ide then rebooted. There was kernel panic. Someone suggested that i use the 1:sd(0,a)/kernel at boot prompt, it worked when i put on the boot prompt sd(1,a). What happened was it booted on the scsi but it cannot mount sd1a and the kernel panic again. Any other suggestions . Thanks
