Well, i tried that but i still get the same. when i look into the tmp dir. =
its empty but /usr/root/desktop is not; it has other dirs. such as apps, =
misc, mp3 etc.. and i though that since these were sys linked i should be=
able to see the contents of /usr/root/desktop. I should be able to ls th=
e tmp dir on my desktop and see the dirs in /usr/root/desktop such as the=
 app and mp3 folder....correct? Now if i go into the /usr/root/desktop di=
r. i see along with the other dirs. a tmp dir., but when i ls this tmp di=
r its empty and if i try to cd to it i get weird sys link errors about to=
o many sys links or something.=20

again thanks

desktop. I guess i am trying to mirror the two dir, so even though they =
have different names and on different filesystems, i will see the same co=
