Unfortunately I don't have a machine in which I can mount the disk.
So I'm forced to revert to hackery :-)

I did, but I didn't think it was enough :-)
I installed Roswell (RH beta) and reserved roughly half the disk
for FreeBSD. Once it boots (as it does now) we probably want to
get world...

BTW: Now that David has stopped maintaining gcc, has someone
stepped in to take over?
