Wellthen! BTW, a Linux using friend of mine has blown away LOTS of dos
file systems while using mounted dos file systems in wine/dosemu etc...
(try rebuilding the partition table btw)
I ran a machine for 8 months that always mounted its dos partition and never
had problems. Go figure.
What it really comes down to is there are more important things to work
on than getting dos stuff working. If I to share data with my dos machine
I use samba :)

Have fun. (Its foolish to NOT use what works best for YOU. If linux then
use linux. I followed OS/2 for a year and a half because it was "going to
