Hi port-maintainer,

after having installed nss_ldapd from ports on my amd64 based server =
(running FreeBSD 7.3-prerelease) , the top command crashes (causes core =
dump).

I found that some sort of patch exists for the port Makefile that solves =
this problem. I wonder why this patch hasn't been incorporated in the =
Makefile yet, because after upgrading from the port to nss_ldapd 7.3 it =
crashed again.

Also, it would be nice if the upgrade from port would not wipe out my =
ldap.conf config file with the template one.

Best regards,

Ewout Boks
