On a tip from a friend, at boot I entered -c then visual. If I try to use the same settings for the mouse and the com port I get errors, disabling one or the other or changing IRQ & I/O has no effect. I have also tried using /dev/cuaa0, /dev/ttyd0, /dev/tty0, /dev/tty0, /dev/mouse, /dev/sysmouse under xf86config and XF86Setup. Am I missing something or do I have a "windoze mouse" ? I'm pretty new at this (FBSD & Unix in general) so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
