The *only* scanners which work under FreeBSD at this time are the HP
scanners.  I've got an HP 3C working, and J'org had an older model
working at his site.  I'm pretty sure it should also work with the HP
4C as well.

It's on the same bus as my HD, but you *must* make sure to get good SCSI
cables or you'll have problems.
