Yes, it's an NTFS partition.

The actual path is E:\users\Andrsn

The ftp situation for this machine is also confused; it seems that one can
only cd to directories that have no files in them.  So I can get to
E:\users, but can't cd to Andrsn (permission denied).  

Something's wrong with the setup--this NT stuff isn't as easy as those
little icons make it look.... :)
