I am trying to set up FreeBSD by FTP and I can't get a connection, I keep timing out trying to get the URL to connect. I have a version of 2.5.1 on CDROM and I can't seem to get much more than the sheel to run I have been trying to run the games as a test and the sheel respond that it cannot locate the file I am asking for. So I thought I would try a different version but i cant get the boot floopy to make a connection or the sysinstall in the version I am already running to make a connection. Help? I have downloaded half the help and manual and configured the files they said to ( ppp.conf, ppp.link(?) something like that) and have gotten to the shiva server but cant get to the site to download. It all stops at querying the DNS and times out with a message that it can't connect are the gateway and dns and interface(?) properly setup. On another note how do I get a game to run, I've been going to the directory and inputting the name of he game (many different) get can't find message any help or direction would be greatly appreciated, e-mail tflynn@auc.trw.com thank-you, Matt.
