This occurs with both JDKs. >How-To-Repeat: 1. Run Eclipse eclipse -vm /usr/local/jdk1.6.0/bin/java -OR- eclipse -vm /usr/local/diablo-jdk1.6.0/bin/java It also works with the default java on my system. 2. Create a new 'Java Project'. 3. Create a Java Class, name unimportant. 4. Create a main(), e.g. public class Test { public static void main (String args[]) { } } 5. In main, type "System.exit(0/0);" or a call to another method with a parameter of int. Note: it is important to *type* it, copy+paste does not work. 6.
