Then run idaconfig show and add the output to this PR. Matthew N Dodd suggested on the freebsd-scsi mailing list to another poster to change #define IDA_QCB_MAX = 128 instead of 256 in sys/dev/ida/idavar.h who was having similar problems. The other poster did this and reported it fixed the problems. Please try this and report back if it corrects it. You should insure that you are using genuine Compaq disk drives in your array. Compaq, now HP, has always stated that non-Compaq disks were unsupported on these array cards and may misbehave. Ted
