https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D256804 Bug ID: 256804 Summary: misc/mc: stop wrecking customised config files Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: danfe@FreeBSD.org Reporter: ice@extreme.hu Assignee: danfe@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(danfe@FreeBSD.org) Created attachment 226030 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D226030&action= =3Dedit Prevent customised config from being overwritten Local changes made to configuration files in etc/mc/ are being wrecked on package update. This is not a very neighbourly thing to do. The attached patch tags these files as @sample and installs them as such. I= am not completely convinced this form is absolutely the correct approach, it however does seem to work as intended (both on deinstall and upgrade). --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
