Hmm, doesn't seem so. I've never had this option in kernel config, and its name suggest it's for disabling cut-n-paste buffer, which is not what I want (and find it very convenient, FWIW). I'm pretty sure that SC_ALT_MOUSE_IMAGE gives me that standard, "inverted" nice text-mode mouse pointer we all used to since early DOS years. ./danfe
