And if core does back this out I :: promise you that I will not rest until it goes back in. : :Is that your final answer? : :Warner You seem to be of the opinion that I am steam rolling changes into the tree. This is simply not the case. All I've heard so far are variations on: Wait for JHB Lets see what JHB has to say JHB might have some patches in P4 related to this That's it. So the 'fourth time' is extremely relevant. You seem bent on accusing me of steamrolling the project. If you look at my commits for the last few months you will see that far from 'steamrolling' over the project I have worked well with many other developers to solve problems, review patches, add suggestions, and so forth. Contrast this with JHB's work. It's in P4. He never posts to -current regarding what he is doing. He is working on about 10 projects simultaniously and hasn't committed much of anything for a long time. And every time I have attempted to contribute the MP code I've been steamrolled by him. I don't see why his work in P4, which touches nearly every file in the entire sys/ tree, should have precedence over my work, which I discuss on the main lists. JHB has not even tried to make suggestions, all he has done is try to VETO every single goddamn thing I've tried to do. He's trying to VETO this work and frankly I am having none of it this time. Four times is too many. -Matt Matthew Dillon To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
