Would there be a way to find out what exactly is going wrong? Even then,
I'm afraid HP doesn't give a damn about it.

I'll choose for that 'solution'. Maybe I'll put another SCSI card in the
machine, but having 1 controller per device was not my intention when I 
decided to choose SCSI over IDE...
