This is getting slightly OT... But for me, 4.7 recognises the
existence of 
themodem fine, it just locks as soon as I try to access /dev/cuaa0. 
 
This is why I want to try 5.0DP2, as the lack of a modem is just about

theonly thing stopping me from switching from Linux ;)
