The following reply was made to PR ports/128140; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Steve Ames <steve@energistic.com> To: "Eric L. Eric, have you given thought to submitting a port to add devel/ptlib so that net/opal and such can use it instead of the, outdated, pwlib? I don't have any interest in maintaining that new port (I will if you don't want to). However if you would like to submit a PR to add that port it'd be great. I'll help get PRs submitted to move applications from pwlib to ptlib. If you don't have anything to start with you might want to take a look at http://steve.energistic.com/h323-ports/ptlib.tgz. Its a FreeBSD port for ptlib 2.2.4 based on your patch from PR-128140. If it looks good and you want to be port Maintainer then by all means submit a PR to get it added. If you don't then I'll submit the PR. In all cases I consder PR-128140 to be closeable since upgrading devel/pwlib per that PR causes way more problems than it solves. Let me know. -Steve
