That man page specifically mentions wlan, although it does go on to
use the "older" ifconfig_wpi0=blah examples. Strange.

In any case, what I told the OP to do was to _try_ the wlan style
configuration since what he was doing wasn't working. He's since
reported back that things are sort of working, although since we've
never seen the results of an 'ifconfig' I still have no idea what he's
actually doing.

Feel free to leave me off future replies to this thread.
