It works find as a CD-ROM; I can mount and access the CreeBSD distribution CD on it with no problems. However, cdrecord doesn't seem to see it or is otherwise unhappy: merlin# cdrecord -scanbus Cdrecord 1.8 (i386-unknown-freebsd3.4) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jörg Schilling cdrecord: Inappropriate ioctl for device.
