When I try to install freebsd 6.0 on my laptop I keep getting this error "Error mounting /dev/acd0 on /dist: Input /output error (5)" and when I go to alt+F2 I get this message
"acd0: Failure - READ_BIG ILLEGAL REQUEST asc=0x00 ascq=0x00 error=4<ABORTED> g_vfs_done():acd0[READ(offset=34816, length=20480]error = 5"
