I setup the adaptec to not translate sectors, I use the bios of the adaptec (1542) to low level format the drive when it finish the geometry says: 3096 cyl, 6 heads, 32 sec. An attempt to boot a 2.0.5 release works fine. the drive is working ok. An attempt to boot a 2.1 fails.... Lenzi.
