There's also mtools. If you're using version 2.1.5 or earlier (and maybe
2.1.6, I'm not sure) avoid msdosfs, it can hose your DOS or FreeBSD data.
The developers think they've fixed the problem in 2.2, but the problem is
too elusive to be sure (I think that's the story, I'm sure someone will
correct me if I'm wrong :). Mtools works, though they sometimes don't
like partitions that have been resized with FIPS.

Netscape isn't on the CD -- installing the port just fetches the tarball
off the net. If your net connection is up that should work fine. I had
some problems with keysyms using netscape 3.0 with XFree86 3.2, but
netscape 2 works fine.

You're right, but there's a little more to it than that. You need to edit
the MAXCONS line in your kernel config file, recompile and reinstall your
kernel, change the lines in /etc/ttys, and use "MAKEDEV vtyn" to create
the devices, where n is the number of the vty you're creating. Make sure
you leave one vty turned off in /etc/ttys so Xwindows can use it. Also
(this trips a lot of people up) you should know that to switch vtys from
Xwindows you need to hit ctrl-alt-Fn instead of just alt-Fn.
