One of the handy things is to have a
/net/hostname/filesyste/blah blah
here's how i do it:
/etc/sysconfig:
amdflags="-l /var/log/amd -r -a /amd -p > /var/run/amd.pid /net /etc/amd-n"
and here is /etc/amd-n
# map for /n
/defaults opts:=rw,intr;fs:=${autodir}/${rhost}
* rhost:=${key};type:=host;rfs:=/
