This commit does not interfere with anything he is doing and I am perfectly willing to work with him to work out any wrinkles he believes could occur from it. I am not going to back it out just because he doesn't like it, nor would I back out his commits just because I don't like him not instrumenting Giant. I am not that kind of person. I would ask him to allow me to add Giant instrumentation, and he can certainly make similar requests of me.
