Someone recently asked me how I can commit ruby-gtk2/ruby-gnome2 if they don't work by default in FreeBSD 5.x when change from '-lpthread' to '-pthread'. I figure, I will input in here too. I just edit ruby18 (make extract, ee work/*/Makefile.in) by add -pthread in LIBS or LDFLAGS then rebuild/reinstall it. It works for me to get ruby-gtk2/ruby-gnome2 tests, samples and apps run. I have sent knu more than two emails and no reply. Cheers, Mezz -- mezz7@cox.net - mezz@FreeBSD.org FreeBSD GNOME Team http://www.FreeBSD.org/gnome/ - gnome@FreeBSD.org
