What release did you install? 2.2.7-RELEASE? I have seen a similar error on this release and the following worked for me. YMMV. :) > - can not find the boot.config and boot.help > - freebsd boot @0x10000: 640/7424 k of memory, internal console > missing kernel Try typing "kernel.GENERIC" at the boot prompt. (Hopefully this works :) If it does copy /kernel.GENERIC to /kernel.
