Really? I loaded the LXY4 firmware upgrade on my ultra-wide
4G Atlas II, and it's working fine. (I believe I used Dagnlxy4.fup)

I started out with LXQ1 firmware.

old dmesg:

(ahc0:0:0): "QUANTUM XP34550W LXQ1" type 0 fixed SCSI 2
sd0(ahc0:0:0): Direct-Access 4341MB (8890760 512 byte sectors)

new dmesg:

sd0 at scbus0 target 0 lun 0
sd0: <QUANTUM XP34550W LXY4> type 0 fixed SCSI 2
sd0: Direct-Access 4341MB (8890760 512 byte sectors)
