Ok I have cracked open the case...Yes I should have done that days ago...
I'm sorry.

The 17 Gig drive is connected to an Ultra 66 controller with no jumpers,
not the motherboard.  

What is this ultra 66?

Can I still use it or is it time to toss everything and by an UWScsi?
