A -current kernel of

Sun Apr 28 02:00:21 PDT 1996

give a strange message during boot and then panics when it tries to
mount the root filesystem.

For each PCI device installed in my system I see a line during
the boot along the lines of

someorother_inthandler: pci irq 10 treated as clk0 (or maybe is was irq0)

(irq 10 is different for each device)

Then when the final boot comes up is says something like:

panic unable to mount root

An April 21st -current kernel does not do this.

My setup:

Intel 486DX4/100 16MB PCI
Adaptec 2940W
Matrox Milleneum VGA
DEC 21040 ethernet
