After informations I found in the german computer magazin "c't", when you change the line #define PCI_DEVICE_ID_ADAPTEC2_2940U2 0x0010 in linux/include/linux/pci.h to #define PCI_DEVICE_ID_ADAPTEC2_2940U2 0x0011 and recompile the kernel, the card should work.
