I have a problem getting FreeBSD to accept my 690 GB RAID-5 Array. This is= =20 what I see in /stand/sysinstall diskPartitionEditor: WARNING: A geometry of 90103/255/63 for twed0 is incorrect. Bla bla... The array is set up of 7 pcs of 120 GB IBM disks on a 3ware Escalade 7850=20 controller in RAID-5 (64K blocksize). I created a smaller array of 3 disks= =20 and that worked fine. No problems in FreeBSD. # dmesg | grep twe twe0: <3ware Storage Controller> port 0xefa0-0xefaf mem 0xfe000000-0xfe7fffff,0xfebffc00-0xfebffc0f irq 10 at device 3.0 on pci1 twe0: 8 ports, Firmware FE7X 1.05.00.023, BIOS BE7X 1.08.00.036 twed0: on twe0 twed0: 706794MB (1447515648 sectors) # uname -a FreeBSD hercules 4.6-STABLE FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE #1: Tue Jul 2 18:45:09 CEST 2002 root@hercules:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/SCSI i386 Ideas anyone?
