These PowerMac boxen are cheap and available and provide a fine little risc ppc64 unit to people. While the Power9 is awesome it also requires a vast pile of money. So anything that allows just about anyone anywhere to install and run FreeBSD on a ppc64 boxen dirt cheap is a "cool" project in my mind. We need to get over a small panic problem : r350026 will panic on ppc64 PowerMac G5 in vm_phys_enqueue_contig https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=239245 So that will be fun to sort out. -- Dennis Clarke RISC-V/SPARC/PPC/ARM/CISC UNIX and Linux spoken GreyBeard and suspenders optional
