https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D265938 Bug ID: 265938 Summary: ports-mgmt/portmaster: Should check for conflicts and merges before uninstalling anything Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: se@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd@ohreally.nl Assignee: se@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(se@FreeBSD.org) Hi, Apparently portmaster doesn't check for conflicts and merges before uninstalling ports to be upgraded. This left me with a system without pkg, preventing me from uninstalling the conflicting package. Instead of copying my post on the FreeBSD forums here, I'll just link to the post in question: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/how-to-uninstall-a-package-without-pkg.8= 6211/ Cheers, Rob --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
