I did some searching today; a replacement pod for the 3C589D will cost 
me AUD$150.  By contrast, I can get an NE2000 clone card (Alloy) for 
about $95, so I think I'll do Just That. 8)

OK; hopefully soon I will have an Alloy card to add to the list 8)
