I have found references for LINUX and STRIP that mentioned Randy Katz at Berkeley working on drivers for BSD. Any comments welcome. -- End of Message If you're asking about the "modem" you carry with you, no special driver should be necessary. They're supposed to work like a regular modem. A friend has one attached to his notebook, which runs NetBSD. On the other hand, if you're intending to set up your own network, using the Metricom equipment, I wouldn't be suprised if you'd need special drivers to talk to whatever such systems use as a network hub. Since Berkeley is supposed to have it's own Metricom network on campus, I suspect this may be what those references are refering to. -- T.T.F.N., Dave Truesdell truesdel@nas.nasa.gov/postmaster@nas.nasa.gov Wombat Wrestler/Software Packrat/Baby Wrangler/Newsmaster/Postmaster
