Greetings,

During a recent round of 'pkg update', pkg decided to install bash and
bash-completion packages. Attempting to remove them results in sadness:

Proceed with deinstalling packages? [y/N]:=20

I did not note any message in the pkg output indicating why so many packages
suddenly require the presence of bash, a shell FreeBSD has worked fine with=
out
for some years.

I've investigated the ports entries for the above software and can find no
changes introducing dependencies on bash.

I assume this is some oversight on my part, but it seems to me that someone
enabled bash-completion support in some subset of this software which caused
this.=20=20

If this is not a bug, please let me know where I can read more about this
decision.
