Keith, your question is rather vague... FreeBSD and Apache are both open source. FreeBSD's ports include the Apache Web server, so it's convenient and easy to install too. There is a port called phpgroupware which might help with "Intranet Open source packages" - I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for. It provides shared calendars, web-based email, shared task lists, etc....
