Well I have had this filled away in the back of my brain since 4.4 Lite
came out. I guess it helps to have read every single Makefile in the
distribution :-) :-) :-).
We really do need a rather thick book written that has never been
written by anyone: ``A hackers guide to the BSD sources, what is
where and sometimes even why''.
If I was any good at writing I might have attempted it, but I would
gladly help a good writer with the technical details of such a book.
