No, you are not missing anything.  `sysctl' is tell you that these
variables are not of a type that it knows how to deal with, so it's
not going to print them.  (This is another effort in my crusade to
eliminate use of /dev/kmem wherever there is a better interface.)  I
fiddled with `sysctl' for about an hour, but no satisfactory solution
came about.  You're welcome to try if it bothers you that much,
