NULL pointer deref.

Do you have a debug kernel?  If so, can you do 'gdb -k kernel.debug' and then
do 'l *0xfffffc00003c3814'?

This is probably a side effect of the earlier check, but it isn't supposed to
happen.  Do you not have DDB in this kernel?
