Testing needed Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi, I've just released bktr driver 2.11. It contains some major changes to the driver internals and I'd like as many people to test it as possible. 1) The driver compiles on the Alpha. I've no idea if it works as I do not have any AXP hardware. Please test it and let me know what happens. **the driver may panic the machine so only try this on experimental machines ** 2) The driver uses bus_space(). This makes the driver more portable over OS platforms, and requried a large rewrite of parts of the driver. I want people to test this and make sure nothing has been broken There is no new functionality in this release. Since 2.08, I've been working on cross-platform support to increase our userbase. Please do whatever testing you can. Even if you just run FXTV, that is fine.
