What happens is that it switches ok to 50 lines when I invoke >vidcontrol VGA_80x50, but it doesn't change to a smaller font. So when I type something only the upper half shows. My rc.conf says: 8x8-font = "iso-8x8", or something similar, and I've tried using vidfont and vidcontrol -f 8x8 fontnamegoeshere without any luck. I don't know what else I can do.. Is it just a fact that on some machines the 80x50 mode doesn't work? I've also tried 80x60 of course, but nonsuccessful... Any tips? Peter
