Thank you. I wouldn't have pushed so hard, until I relized just how long ago this change was made. You'll be better off in the long run on port 1812 anyway, most next generation equipment will ship with that as the default. If you need assistance in migrating your current Ascend/Livingston equipment I've dealt with my fair share of it and can say that the easiest way is to do the ``run 2 copies of radiusd, one on each port'' then go around and reset all your RAS equipment. The other way is to install a proxy server on 1645 that forwards to 1812, and/or use ipfw and divert sockets. The Livingstons are easy, just wack the global config value and do a save all. The Ascend stuff is a bit more brain dead, you usually have to reboot it after changing it. If you use the dual port method you can wait until the next natural reboot due to some other problem, which isn't usually two long for a MAX or TNT :-). -- Rod Grimes - KD7CAX - (RWG25) rgrimes@gndrsh.dnsmgr.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
