https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D260252 Bug ID: 260252 Summary: net/pimd: fix "kernel busy" error message on routing socket for FreeBSD >=3D11.0 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: olivier@freebsd.org Reporter: damien.deville@stormshield.eu Flags: maintainer-feedback?(olivier@freebsd.org) Assignee: olivier@freebsd.org Hello net/pimd maintainers, This summer i worked on net/pimd on FreeBSD 11.3 and find a pretty nasty bug related to interaction with the multicast routing socket. I produced a fix which was upstream to pimd's github. The patch is available here: https://github.com/troglobit/pimd/pull/191 The issue is there: https://github.com/troglobit/pimd/issues/152 with some explanation about the issue. The patch can also be used on pimd 2.3.2 as this version as the same issue.= I tested it and it work fine and fixes the reported issue. Feel free to integrate the patch in net/pimd. You can mention that this patch is "Sponsored by Stormshield" as it was done during my working time. Thanks in advance, Damien for Stormshield --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
