Hi. I'm trying to connect from *LibreOffice Base* to a MySQL DB on my system.
The DB wizard starts up and in step2 - Setup MySQL Connection, I select
"Connect Using JDBC (Java)"
In step3, There is the "MySQL JDBC driver class" box displaying
"com.mysql.jdbc.Driver". When I hit the "Test Class" button, the error
message is: "The JDBC driver coulld not be loaded"

I assume this is because I have not included Java support for LO in the
config file?

Also I would like to connect to ODBC databases (my old Access DB's) and
messing around in LO, I found the Tools > Options > LO Base > Connections >
Connection Pooling (I enabled this)
However, the JDBC driver there is named "com.sun.star.comp.sdbc.JDBCDriver",
which when entered in the afore mentioned "Test Class" box gives the same
error output.

I currently have pooling enabled for ODBC, MySQL, JDBC.
Do I need to setup the connections externally as well? Something like "ODBC
External Data Source Administrator" being used in Linuxland?

Thanks for the help.
