https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D265988 Bug ID: 265988 Summary: Mk/bsd.default-versions.mk: Add ldap versions to the list Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: linus.sundqvist@loopia.se Hi there, Since OpenLDAP 2.4 seems to be more or less deprecated/not supported by upstream (https://www.openldap.org/software/download/) I would like an ldap-version flag to be added to default-versions.mk so that users can prep= are moving to a newer OpenLDAP version (2.5 which is LTS, or 2.6 which is Featu= re release afaik). Saw a suggestion from about a year ago here https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/openldap-dependency-with-powerdns.82456/ Currently ports are hardcoded to use 2.4 in /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.ldap.mk which makes it harder to try and migrate to a newer OpenLDAP version. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
