            Bug ID: 239773
Summary: lang/gcc meta port - no option to disable 32-bit
                    targets
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: gerald@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: fbsdbugs4@sentry.org
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(gerald@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: gerald@FreeBSD.org

When installing gcc from the lang/gcc meta port, there are no configurable
options. The result is that if the system has been built without the 32 bit
libraries, the gcc build fails.

Work around: Go to the relevant gcc (currently gcc9) port and make config f=
irst
to disable the MULTILIB Build support for 32-bit and 64-bit targets. Then y=
ou
can use the gcc meta port to successfully build and install gcc.
