with high hopes, etc.. I went to try the alpha 4100... big system, btw, with 4
MCPCIAs and 7 isps..... All went well until it started to do CAM probing:

Waiting 2 seconds for SCSI devices to settle
(noperiph:sym0:0:-1:-1): SCSI BUS reset delivered.
